Supervisor: Maintenance Supervisor

This is a multi-faceted position requiring the person to maintain overall cleanliness and keep facilities in good repair. As a member of the Lone Tree team you will work to plan, coordinate, execute, and evaluate activities of Janitorial/Maintenance needs at the Lodge. The expectation is to provide excellent customer service to all the clients being served at the Lodge. Because your work is so critical to the overall feeling at camp we would expect you to do everything in your power to make the clients stay more comfortable and keep the Lodge in good working order.

This job description is a guideline to routine work assignments. There will be times when you will be asked to perform work outside the parameters of this job description, which will be assigned by your supervisor to accommodate our client’s needs and expectations.

Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and lift 60 pounds using proper support and methods. Using cleaning materials, cleaning tools, small hand power tools, and basic repair materials will be required. Knowledge of how to use these items is important. The position will include tasks and duties in both outdoor and indoor environments. Conditions may include extreme heat or cold based on different equipment used. Proper safety attire and practices must be enforced at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical and other equipment of a facility
  • Detecting any defects and malfunctions, immediately repairing, and refurbishing the same
  • Coordinating with the production and other departments for feedback on the functionality of machinery and equipment
  • Reporting all defects and damages to the maintenance manager
  • Complying with the industry standards and safety regulations of working
  • Completing all tasks as delegated by the supervising authority
  • Maintaining all records of the repair and maintenance works conducted in a facility
  • Efficiently managing time and meeting all specified deadlines

Qualification Requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the skills and knowledge necessary to perform this job successfully.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills encompassing written and oral communication
    • Ability to obtain necessary certifications to operated applicable equipment
    • Demonstrated ability to teach and train others
    • Willingness to work a rotating work schedule as needed
    • Must have at least a general knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and construction
    • Have a valid driver’s license
    • Eligible to work in the United States
    • Ability to clean, organize, and pay attention to detail
    • Proven track record of dependability and reliability


This position will require that you stay at the Lodge for approximately 4 weeks, alternating with a period of 2 weeks of off time. During this time you will work up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Room and board will be provided to all full time employees living on-site. You will receive 3 meals a day, a clean room, and access to all the amenities of the Lodge.
